The History:
Growing up, my parents always took my sister and me to Lazy Acres tree farm in Chunky, Mississippi. Not only did they have rows and rows of cut-your-own real trees, but they had a sleigh and real reindeers, too! Katie gets Kreative

Though I’ve been a writer a long time now–I penned my first “novel,” entitled “The Adventures of Egg and Broom,” in kindergarten–it’s still hard for me to jump right in and get started. I need a plan, a profound thought to go on. Otherwise, I feel it’s a waste. I’d rather take two years to write something great than have my name attached to something so-so.
